Cosplay Portfolio

Built, stitched, and finished by hand. Every costume has a story—and a lot of hours behind it.
These cosplay competition wins showcase my best work—original fantasy costuming, strong construction, and details that hold up on stage and up close. From original fantasy designs to detailed builds, these competition wins highlight the craftsmanship, creativity, and love of character that goes into every piece.

Midwest Toy & Comic 3/22/25

Jedi Rapunzel - Most Creative

This Jedi Rapunzel build is where my tabard journey started—my very first tabard ever made. It began as the prototype for the tabard design I use today, created before I evolved the pattern into my current reversible version. Blending the magic of Disney with the grit of Star Wars, this fandom mash-up became my first award-winning cosplay, taking Most Creative—and earning me my very first cosplay competition win.

Paradise Casino Halloween Costume Contest 10/25/25

Glinda the Good Witch - 1st Place

Glinda was my biggest build to date—80+ hours of construction with 2,000+ hand-glued rhinestones for maximum sparkle. The finishing touch is my favorite detail: a wand that actually blows bubbles.

This costume didn’t place at Illinois Comic Con, but it did earn 1st place at a local Halloween costume contest. More than anything, it’s a beautiful, joyful build that’s just plain fun to wear.

Quad Con Cedar Rapids 2/14/26

Titania Queen of the Fae (Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream) - Best in Show

Titania surprised me—in the best way. I didn’t expect this project to perform as well as it did, but the result proved how much handmade detail matters. From the gold stitching to the layered mix of materials, this costume pushed my skills in new directions, including my first-ever boned corset back made from real suede leather.

The finishing touch (and the detail that really sealed the win) was the light-up, twinkling dandelion staff—a magical centerpiece that brought the whole look to life.

Peoria Con 3/7/26

Titania Queen of the Fae (Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream) - Best in Show

Titania ended up being a breakout hit—especially for such an obscure character. At Peoria Con, this build took Best in Show and 1st Place (Intermediate).

The win came down to the overall craftsmanship and impact: detailed gold stitching, a mix of rich materials (including my first boned corset back in real suede leather), and the fan-favorite finishing piece—the light-up, twinkling dandelion staff. People absolutely loved the staff, and it helped make the whole costume feel unforgettable.
